How information is handled when people use WYE’s public website and community features.
WYE is designed to collect as little personal information as practical. Do not submit private contact information, school schedules, financial account details, or other sensitive information through public community features.
Public community content
Names or display names, usernames, towns, biographies, posts, and replies submitted to the community area may be visible to other visitors. Use a display name rather than a full legal name if preferred. Community content may be moderated or removed for safety, privacy, spam, or conduct concerns.
Technical information
The site’s hosting and service providers may process standard technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request logs, and security events to deliver and protect the service. WYE does not sell personal information.
Educational tools
Information entered into calculators is intended for on-screen educational estimates. Visitors should avoid entering real account numbers or other sensitive financial data. Wylie responses are educational and are not financial, legal, or policy advice.
