Ishan Gheewala founded Westchester Youth Economics to help students understand the economic forces they see every day—housing costs, wages, inflation, college decisions, commuting, and opportunity—using public data and interactive tools.
His work brings together software, economic research, writing, and community service. WYE is designed around a simple idea: local data becomes more useful when people can understand it, question it, and discuss what it means for their communities.
